At SOLA Community Peace Center, our young people in leadership positions decided on a project named "A Community of Gardens." This project is to share garden plants, supplies, experiences with preparing food, and information with the community so that together we can create this Community of Gardens. 

 

This project was created to increase our wellness as we garden and grow food, and prepare it. It was also created to increase our sense of community as we share our garden experiences with each other.

 

The great news is that you can join our community of gardens too! 

 

1) If you need a garden plant - come to one of our giveaways at St. Mark's 3651 S. Vermont on 4th Wednesdays between 3:30 and 5pm.

 

2) If you are growing garden plant(s) in your window, on your patio, or in a garden space, let us know and send a photo.

 

3) If you would like to join our cooking events online, just check out our website and newsletter for upcoming events and sign up!
